Jazz in the Garden
Concert: Buttering Trio
Buttering Trio describe their debut album entitled "Toast," launched only in May 2014, as follows: "For us it is a somewhat schizophrenic child, a collection of beats produced by all of us, each of us have contributed our greatest strengths."
Their music combines ballads and beats in a way that redefines Trip hop. This melange made the trio’s debut album already cause quite a stir amongst greats like Gilles Peterson and Snoop Dogg.
The members KerenDun, Rejoicer, and Beno Hendler (Balkan Beat Box) met and found each other in Berlin and developed their sound in rowdy experimental jam sessions and endless nights of forming beats. They love to make sounds from sharp synth basses, progressive chords, and unconventional but never inappropriate beats and vocals to create a challenging sound journey together. In Tel Aviv, they recorded their album "Toast" together with bassist Beno in their Kicha Recording Studio, where they worked with a lot of analog equipment and Ableton Live.
The popular workshop "Matzah Baking" in the clay oven will be held for children, and large toys are also on offer.
The museum café "Café Schmus" caters for guests in the garden - picnic baskets can also be ordered. For information on picnic basket orders, contents, and prices, please contact the Museum Café on tel. +49 (0)30 25 79 67 51 or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
All events in the series "Jazz in the Garden" will be held in the Museum Garden (in bad weather in the Glass Courtyard).
