Gustav Rinesch an Joseph Gregor; Wien, 28. Januar 1946 | Österreichische Nationalbibliothek Wien

In early 1946, Heinrich Schnitzler's attorney Gustav Rinesch (1905–1985) requested that the National Library return the confiscated books. He significantly did not turn to the new director-general, but to the initiator of the confiscation, Joseph Gregor. From the start, the private photographs are given particular emphasis.
