Treuhandverwaltung für Kulturgut (TVK)

The Treuhandverwaltung für Kulturgut that had been established in 1951 to administer the remaining treasures from the Collecting Points, was dissolved in 1962; its holdings were transferred to the Federal Treasury Department and given to numerous German museums as "Loans of the Federal Republic of Germany." The still remaining c. 2,300 artworks have been published as "Restbestand CCP" (remainder of the Central Collecting Point) at www.lostart.de.
