As part of the Long Night of Museums 2024 the JMB is organizing a program of activities around the current exhibition Sex. Jewish Positions. The exhibition plays with the different perceptions of sexuality in Judaism – from the central importance of marriage and procreation through desire, taboos and the questioning of social norms to the eroticism of spirituality. Drag DJane Jewels will guide you through the night.

Speed-Dating with experts including the artists Roey Victoria Heifetz and Benyamin Reich, sexual therapist Rachela Rubinroth, Magnus Hirschfeld expert Rainer Herrn, Esther Kontarsky, mikveh attendant at the synagogue Oranienburger Straße, literary scholar Galili Shahar, comedian Jenny Simanowitz, sexologist Eden Kosman, and the queer nuns of the Orden der Schwestern der Perpetuellen Indulgenz (Order of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence) ! |
