Highlights of the Jewish Museum Berlin
Collect, Fold, Count: A Different Kind of Museum Guide
This museum packet is not at all what you were expecting. The presentation of our book of highlights is purposefully distinct from a classic museum guide. The silver-colored sleeve, reminiscent of the Libeskind Building's facade, contains a nine-part treasure trove.
Forty-Nine Highlights of the Museum
Seven booklets present seven objects each. These are exceptional treasures from our collection, and our curators vividly describe their origins, significance, and stories in brief texts.
Fascinating Facts about Jewish Culture and History
The small booklet “Who knows one?” presents more than just the milestones of Jewish history in Germany. Readers also get to learn more about Jewish religion and culture in an interesting, entertaining way. Did you know there are still three million Yiddish speakers in the world? The meaning of the word “chutzpah”? And why thirteen is a lucky number in Judaism?
Drawing by Libeskind
The architect of the Jewish Museum Berlin is Daniel Libeskind, who won the competition to design the building in 1989. One of the sketches for his design is now available as a poster for the first time.
