"intonations" - The Jerusalem International Chamber Music Festival at the Jewish Museum Berlin

For the last 15 years, the internationally renowned Jerusalem International Chamber Music Festival has united excellent musicians from all over the world. Under the direction of the pianist Elena Bashkirova, it has become one of Israel’s most important cultural events. The festival will now find a second home at the Jewish Museum Berlin, and in the Glass Courtyard designed by Daniel Libeskind an exceptional stage for its mission - to bring artists from different nations together and celebrate a dialog of cultures and a love of chamber music with the audience.

Young talents will perform alongside internationally renowned artists in the Glass Courtyard: Daniel Barenboim, Marie-Elisabeth Hecker, Guy Braunstein, Hélène Grimaud, Emmanuel Pahud, and many more.

The third concert evening on 26 April will begin with the "Critics’ Quartet" that came into being with the German Record Critics’ Award. The lieder cycle "Women’s Lives and Loves" will be the theme of discussion.

Please note a change of program: Daniel Barenboim will now perform on Saturday, 28 April. Initially - as announced in an earlier press release - his participation as pianist and conductor was scheduled for Sunday.
