The teaching material is intended for integration and orientation courses and can also be used for German language courses. It contains a classroom lesson on identity and nine stops for a field trip to the Jewish Museum Berlin.
Your course participants or pupils will learn about the permanent exhibition of the Jewish Museum Berlin with a focus on Jewish people of the present day and the period between 1933 and 1945. The materials include background information in simple language, video material, and worksheets.
The teaching material was developed by the Berlin Landeszentrale für politische Bildung (Berlin State Center for Political Education) together with the Berlin Volkshochschulen (adult education centers) and the Jewish Museum Berlin.
