Hello Future!

Three people are in front of a media station

Over the past 20 years, the JMB has grown to be an exceptional institution in the European museum landscape. In 2020, we opened our new core exhibition and in 2021 ANOHA: The Children’s World of the Jewish Museum Berlin. Now we are taking the next steps into the JMB’s future.

We believe that encountering Jewish history and culture, participating in dialogue, and engaging in constructive debate are vital keys to the cohesion of our society. Only with a lively and accessible presence in both digital and physical space will the JBM succeed in remaining attractive for younger and future generations as well. This is why, in the coming years, we aim to develop ourselves into the most important digital platform for questions about Jewish life in Germany.

We are working on projects that by 2025 will open up virtual, interactive spaces and redefine the visitor experience. In the process, the digital and physical museums will blur together, granting people around the globe free access to our subject matter.

Join us on this quest and help to shape the digital future of the JMB!
