Micha Ullman: Under

The Jewish Museum Berlin acquired an important work by Micha Ullman in 2010: his installation Under. It was exhibited in 2011 at the Eric F. Ross Gallery with drawings by Ullman acquired at an earlier date and a video about the artist.

With Under, Micha Ullman picks up on a thread that runs through many of his works: that the subject itself is absent, invisible, and inaccessible. He thus enters into a friendly dialogue with the architecture of Daniel Libeskind and its concept of voids.
