Leaving a Gift in your Will

For the next generation

Did you know that a will can play an important role in fulfilling our social responsibilities? Gifts in wills open up new potential for programs that increase the visibility of Jewish life in Germany and foster an open-minded and respectful coexistence in society.

As a public foundation and nonprofit corporation, the Jewish Museum Berlin (JMB) is exempt from inheritance tax. So any donations are received in full, taking full effect where they are needed.

Frequently asked questions

Why is it advisable to write a will?

Writing a will means you can determine what happens to your estate. A precisely worded will provides clarity and ensures that those you want to remember will benefit from your estate. If you don’t leave a will, or your will can’t be found, inheritance laws will apply. These provisions stipulate the order of inheritance for relatives entitled to inherit.

How can I include the Jewish Museum Berlin in my will?
