Cultural Summer
Summer, garden, deckchairs – Cultural Summer brings the museum outdoors, combining culture and sun!
The Jewish Museum Berlin has been organizing the Cultural Summer for more than 20 years. The event series has developed from an insider tip into a major part of Berlin’s cultural life. From July to September, we invite visitors young and old to summer events in the museum and on our extensive grounds. Discover one of the most wonderful sides of the JMB at our Summer Party, readings, concerts like Jazz in the Garden and the Long Night of Museums.

This year’s Cultural Summer kicks off with a grand Summer Party that’s all about soccer: On the day of the European Championship final, we’ll be focusing on the “beautiful game” with live music, a parkours route from TuS Makkabi Berlin, exciting mini-tours through the core exhibition, special guests and a colorful children’s program.
Friends of summer open-air performances can get excited about two well-loved Sunday matinées of Jazz in the Garden. International musicians promise a special concert experience on the stage in the museum garden.
The grand finale is the Long Night of Museums. This year’s edition revolves around our current exhibition Sex: Jewish Positions. Whether it’s speed dating with experts, taking a mini-tour through the exhibition or sipping a cocktail in the Glass Courtyard, the focus remains the same: Let’s talk about sex!
FRIENDS OF THE JMB will naturally be present at all events, and they look forward to stimulating conversations and new faces! www.jmberlin.de/freunde
