Looking out of the window of the Jewish Museum Berlin while working on the 2016 JMB Journal, one sees mainly building sites. Just opposite the Museum, a new city square is being developed, including apartment buildings, shops, spaces for artists of all kinds, and the W. Michael Blumenthal Academy of the Jewish Museum Berlin.
Reason enough to dedicate our JMB Journal to an art form which surrounds all of us, every day: architecture.
