The adrenaline-packed noir novel, which was released in the US in September 2024, centers on a right-wing extremist conspiracy against democracy. While investigating the murder of the deputy chief of the US Embassy in Berlin, the victim’s colleague Adam Jackson reluctantly becomes the investigator. Jackson’s research leads him underground, where he uncovers a connection to the local aristocracy and organized crime.

The reading will be moderated by Michael Naumann, publisher and retired German Minister of Culture.

Welcome speech by Hetty Berg, director of the JMB
