Lahav Shani has been music director of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra since the 2020/2021 season. Now he and the renowned ensemble are touring Europe for the first time. The orchestra will be performing the second movement “Psalms” from Paul Ben-Haim’s first symphony, “Many Waters” by the Israeli composer Betty Olivero, and Sergei Rachmaninoff’s final work – “Symphonic Dances,” which he wrote in 1940 on Long Island. It’s an evening not to be missed!
