The archive of the Jewish Museum Berlin contains numerous documents testifying to the forced emigration and exile of German Jews during the Nazi era: Poems, diaries, letters and songs, donated by German-Jewish emigrants and their descendants from all over the world.

In a varied program, Maria Schrader and Ulrich Matthes present voices and documents from the rich collection, accompanied by descriptions of individual biographies and fates.

The event is part of the “Days of Exile Berlin 2023,” in which many Berlin institutions are participating. In cooperation with the Körber Foundation and the Foundation Exilmuseum Berlin.
