Tour of the Weißensee Jewish Cemetery

An event for FRIENDS OF THE JMB

In advance of the exhibition Another Country. Jewish in the GDR, which will be on show at the JMB starting in September, we'll tour the Weißensee Jewish cemetery, which is the largest Jewish cemetery still in existence in Europe. The more than 115,000 resting places tell a many different stories, whereby our focus will be on the GDR era. We recommend sturdy shoes, and we ask the men to please bring a head covering.
